As in Bayes’ Theorem, a mathematical concept that enables prediction models and Generative AI.
Much has been written about the yacht and it’s owner, Mike Lynch.
And about his company, which was bought by HP and subject to numerous lawsuits.
And the challenges of predicting the future, using computer models.
And the desire of humans to assert that their creations are “unsinkable” or that “we spared no expense.”

The Reuters article today described results of the investigation into the Bayesian yacht’s sinking, indicating that it was “described by the boat builder’s owner as basically unsinkable.”
